ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION: JR Smith 8470 Commercial Grease Trap for Cleaning

Duco Coated interior and exterior fabricated steel grease interceptor, PDI, rated with a internal air relief by-pass, bronze clean out plug, FUNCTION: Used in large kitchens or institutions where there is an anticipated high rate of discharge of grease and oil laden waste from the fixtures. Large fabricated steel units available from 75 to 500 gallons per minute are most adaptable to industrial applications such as food processing and packaging plants. Rate of flow into interceptor is controlled by a flow control fitting, thus enabling the interceptor to collect over 90% of the grease which flows into it. Cover design permits fast cover removal for periodic cleaning. Interceptor may be set on floor, semi-recessed in floor or fully recessed with cover flush with finished floor. Note: Location of outlet from bottom of interceptor cannot be changed.
