Sinks are mainly used for washing either the hands or the dishes. We have three main types of sinks which include; dishes sinks, hand sinks and the preparatory sinks. The three types differ form each other due to the number of basins. Dishes sinks and preparatory sinks have three and two basins respectively. The hand sink on the other hand has one basin. Three compartment sink are mainly for the kitchen and that’s why they are also referred as kitchen sinks. They have three basins which have different functions. The first basins is place where the dishes are washed while the second one serves an area for rinsing and the third basin serves as a place for sanitizing the dishes.
Three compartment sink usually come in three main designs which include; the drop in, corner design and the standing design. In kitchens where the space is not enough, the drop in type are better choices since they do occupy less space. When you want to fix your bowls at the corner, then you should opt for the corner designs, all the kitchen sinks are made up of stainless steel material to prevent rusting.
